ANTS (Act Now Take a Stand) is excited to share that Queen Anne’s County has approved our peaceful walk on the Cross Island Trail this Sunday, June 22. The theme is “Pro American Democracy, Freedom, Liberty, and Justice.”
Wear red if you can—blue or white works too—and feel free to bring signs and American flags to show your spirit.
🎨 While creative signs are encouraged, we’re asking participants to keep the focus on America, Lady Liberty, and our shared values—not anti-Trump visuals—for this event.
Meet-up Info:
We’ll gather at 10:30 AM in the public parking lot at the Narrows in Grasonville. To find it, turn onto Kent Narrows Way (across from Fisherman’s Inn). The parking lot is just ahead on the left, under the Route 50 overpass.
🚗 Please allow extra travel time in case of beach traffic.
The Walk:
We’ll access the trail directly across from the parking lot and walk eastbound along Route 50 West. Please stay on the right side of the trail at all times to allow room for other users.
We’ll continue to a grassy area, where we’ll wave our signs and flags. Please be respectful of the space—take all trash with you so we leave no trace.
Wrap-up:
We must return to our vehicles by 12:30 PM, when our permit expires.
♿ For those with limited mobility or who need to park closer to the grassy area, there’s a small lot near Long Point Park in Grasonville with about 4–5 spaces.
