‘No Kings’ Protest Draws More Than 300 in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — Hundreds of protesters lined several blocks of Route 50 in Cambridge on Saturday, March 28, joining a wave of “No Kings” demonstrations that reached several communities across the Shore. From Sailwinds Park to Maryland Avenue, participants stood shoulder to shoulder along the busy highway, holding signs and waving to passing traffic.

No Kings Day Draws Crowds in Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE — Millions of Americans turned out Saturday for the third No Kings Day demonstration, including several hundred in Cambridge. They lined the side of Rte. 50 on a windy afternoon, attracting honks of approval and occasionally, condemnation from passing cars and trucks.

CAMBRIDGE — For two hours Saturday afternoon, national politics intersected with the flow of traffic as nearly 400 people, old and young, a dozen-odd dogs, and a bevy of costumed characters held placards and chanted slogans as part of the network of the more than 2,700 “No Kings” rallies that took place across all 50 states.
